Miroslav Bičanić (born 29 October 1969 in Djakovo) is a former Croatian footballer. He played in two matches for the Croatia national football team in friendlies against Ukraine (1 goal) and Hungary.Bicanic is one of the best players of NK Osijek 1990-1996 and one of the best goal-assistants of Croatian League at that time. He was transferred 1996 to MSV Duisburg (1.Bundesliga Germany), but played only 14 matches (1 goal) in Championship and 2 in German Cup (1 goal vs Energie Cottbus). Season 1997/98 Bicanic played very well for Hapoel Haifa (3.place in Championship, his goal vs Maccabi Tel Aviv was "Goal of the Year") and after that he was transferred back to Germany, to Hansa Rostock. Because he played several matches only and one in German Cup (1 goal vs Werder Bremen) Bicanic was unhappy with his status, so he came back to Israel. He played for Hapoel Beer Sheva (2 months) and Bnei Yehuda (3 months) before his transfer to Chongqing (China) in February 2000. Miroslav Bicanic was the best player of Chinese league and won 2 time Cup of China: 2000 with Chongqing Lifan (vs Beijing Guoan 0:1, 4:1 - Bicanic 3 assists) and 2002 with Qingdao Hademen (1:3, 2:0 - 78' goal Bicanic).
Today, he is a FIFA licensed players agent ("Marmis football agency", www.marmis.hr)
In 2008. Miroslav Bicanic and Silvio Maric founded Green Cup, a very strong football tournament on artificial grass, where the best players from normal football and indoor football compete for titel (5 m goals, players 5+1, pitch 50x30m).
